DCappella
About
DCappella was Disney Music’s premier contemporary a cappella ensemble, created by Disney Music Group to reimagine the iconic Disney songbook for modern audiences. Formed in 2017 through a national audition process, the group was built as a flagship vocal act—blending tight harmonies, contemporary production, and dynamic stage performance with Disney’s globally recognized catalog.
DCappella made its recording debut with the self-titled album DCappella, introducing fresh vocal arrangements of beloved classics such as “How Far I’ll Go,” “You’ll Be In My Heart,” and “When She Loved Me” Over the course of their career, the group recorded six full-length albums and released more than 100 singles, consistently refreshing Disney’s legacy catalog for a new generation of listeners while maintaining a strong presence across streaming platforms worldwide.
Beyond the studio, DCappella quickly became an international touring act, performing to sold-out audiences across North America and Japan. Career highlights include appearances at the Hollywood Bowl, national television features including American Idol, and a performance at the Dubai Opera House for the Middle East launch of Disney+. Their live productions combined intricate vocal arranging, choreography, and high-energy staging, positioning the group as both musical ambassadors and brand representatives for Disney.
With major-label infrastructure, global touring, and access to one of the most beloved song libraries in entertainment history, DCappella occupies a distinctive place in contemporary vocal music—where modern a cappella meets timeless storytelling.
